We went for the Sunday carvery and it was excellent. Plenty of vegetable choices and seasoned meats. Good service and will definitely return. Priced at 15.00 each for the carvery.

Booked a table for a family dinner on a Saturday night. Despite being told we were late with no tables (while the place was empty), we waited and were eventually seated after a long delay. Disappointing experience after being a customer on and off for a few years, will not return due to poor service.

We decided to stop by the Woodmans for a meal on whim. The server, Imagen, was genuinely lovely and welcoming. The portions were generous and freshly cooked to order. I highly recommend the Woodmans as a hidden gem in Gorefield.

We used to come here for years for the excellent Sunday carvery, but the quality has declined since the refurbishment and change in management and chef. No more Lincolnshire sausages and the roasted potatoes are different now.

A group of 7 of us visited on a Friday and enjoyed the food, so we returned for the Sunday Carvery which was one of the best we've had.

We stayed for 2 nights and found the food to be good, although the plate had an excessive amount of crispy potato wedges. The main issue was the long wait for our meals to be served, despite the restaurant not being very busy.

We had a large group for the Sunday roast carvery and found the food to be excellent, the best we've had in a long time. The staff were all very nice and friendly. I highly recommend the Woodmans Cottage.
